Lindsey Wiesenborn

Preschool Director

My husband, Kyle, and I have been married since 2003, and we have two daughters, both of whom are Little Fishers Preschool graduates! We have been members of Fishers of Men for 14 years. Over the past decade, I have been a preschool parent, preschool teacher, an active children’s ministry leader, and now a preschool director. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and work experience in teaching, management, and customer service. I love asking children questions and hearing what they have to say. I also love big hugs from them!

Favorite Childhood Memory: Going to Colorado every summer with my family

My childhood was spent in the cold weather of Alaska and Idaho. I’ve lived in New Orleans for eight years and in Shanghai for half a year. I moved to the Houston area with my family in 2015. My husband and I are university sweethearts, and we have two boys who are alumni of Little Fishers Preschool. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. I love interacting with children and finding special ways to connect with them. I look forward each week to teaching our music class.

Favorite Childhood Memory: Long summer days playing with my sisters and cousins on my grandparents’ farm

I have both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Education. I have experience teaching in 1st and 3rd grades, as well as in reading intervention. I am married to my husband, Ramzey, and together we have four children, including twins. All four of our children have attended Little Fishers!

I have 3 beautiful girls. My oldest daughter is a senior in high school. I love running and I have run 4 different marathons in different states! I enjoy building connections with each student’s family. I love chatting at pick-up and drop-off, and sending notes and photos of our days.

I have an Associate degree in Early Childhood, a Montessori Certificate, an ACSI Educator Certificate, and a Child Development Associate. I have been married to my husband, Danny, for 47 years. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. My youngest grandchild is attending Little Fishers Preschool.

Favorite Childhood Memory: Camping and taking road trips with my family nearly every summer.

I am a mom to three kids and have been married to my husband for 12 years. I love to use music to engage and transition into a new activity throughout the day. I speak Spanish, so I like my students to understand more than one language.

I was born in Indiana and baptized into the Lutheran church when I was just six days old. At the age of three, my family relocated to Illinois, and I moved to Texas in 1999. My husband, Mark, and I were married in 2019. We have three daughters, all of whom attend Little Fishers Preschool!

Favorite Childhood Memory: On my first day of school, I was feeling shy and nervous. A girl came up and asked to be my friend. We stayed best friends for many years!

I am from Costa Rica. I have also lived in Lake Charles, Lousiana, Chico, California, Port Arthur, and Houston. I have three children (ages 16, 5, and 4). My husband and I have been married for 16 years. He works in aviation. We enjoy traveling to Fredericksburg.

I have four adult children, ages 26-30. Three children live in Texas, and one lives in Missouri. I am a returning staff member from years ago! It brings me joy to teach the students, and it is a joy to work here.

Favorite Childhood Memory: When a steer got loose on my family’s farm, I sent my three dogs to round it up. To my surprise, they successfully herded it back into the pen—a trick they never repeated.

I am from Houston and previously lived in Baytown. I am married to my husband, Jim, and I have two granddaughters. I love Scooby-Doo and Snoopy! I love that at Little Fishers Preschool, we share the love of Jesus with the children.

I am from Sugar Land, and have lived in Richmond and San Antonio. I am a big cat lover! My cats keep me on my toes at home – I think they’re better at running my house than I am! I love fun, morning greetings when families arrive at school.

I was born in Southern Illinois and moved to Texas in 1981. I love children and music, as I studied Early Childhood Education in college and have been singing since high school (40+ years). I love seeing the joy and energy children express in singing songs about Jesus and their love for Gertie and chapel time!

I was born and raised in Houston. I’ve also lived in Saudia Arabia (1 year), St. Louis, MO (4 1/2 years), and Cambridge, England (6 months). I have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston. I earned a diploma from Cambridge in my brief program there. I received my Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and I’m nearing my completion of a Masters of Sacred Theology. My wife, Stephanie, and I have been married since 2019. We have three wonderful boys, ages 4 and under. Our oldest two attend Little Fishers and love it! .

Favorite Childhood Memory: I always loved our Christmas celebrations with candlelight services at the end of Christmas Eve, to morning presents, and spending Christmas day at my Grandma’s house with a big lunch and playing games in the evening.

Karl Miller

I’ve been married for 39 years. I have three grown sons and four grandchildren. I’ve moved around a lot – Indiana, New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas. Five years ago, God put upon my heart to go back to school. I attended Concordia Wisconsin University online and graduated from their Director of Christian Ministry program. This past summer I retired from my 40 year career in municipal government and received a call to serve as the Director of Family Ministry at Fishers of Men.

Favorite Childhood Memory: Going to Disney World with my family and grandparents.

I’ve been married for 17 years to my husband, Andrew, and we have 3 children. I love having impromptu dance parties with my family. My favorite time of day is my family gathered around the dinner table and I get to hear all about their day. Family nights are the best!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a certification in Early Childhood. My husband is a pastor and I am a retired teacher. We have two married sons and four grandchildren. I am looking forward to supporting the teachers and families at Little Fishers Preschool as a substitute. I love sharing my faith and love for learning with children and their families.

I am from Iowa, where I was born and raised. I live with my husband, Spencer, our two daughters, Emberly and Aria, and our two dogs, Bolt and Ollie. We spend part of our time on an exotic animal ranch that is home to over 80 different species. Additionally, we have a WWII museum on the ranch, where visitors can drive tanks!
