From Our Parents:
This school has been such a blessing for my daughter and our family. The teachers and staff are so loving and truly care about the children. Maya gets lots of hugs and cuddles at school and this is the sort of warm and loving environment we were looking for when searching for the right fit. We feel like we have our own little community at Little Fishers. My husband and I are so happy knowing that our daughter is in a safe and stimulating environment. We look forward to sending our son here next year and watching both our children thrive.
I truly believe finding Little Fishers Preschool and the wonderful staff of caring teachers and staff was an answered prayer.
It’s not easy to find a preschool for your children, and I had searched high and low in the Sugar Land area until I came one night to an Open House and it instantly felt like a warm and welcoming place.
My children (I have a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old) are taken care of and taught important preschool lessons that become life lessons: how to play with others, how to draw, read and communicate, and how to become independent. I wholeheartedly trust the nurturing and safe environment created for the children in the school.
It’s hard to let go of your babies. As traumatic as it is for them to start preschool, it’s also about our journey as parents to be role models to them. I find the engaged parents who support the school with their time, talents and treasures (making homemade treats, helping with class parties, financial gifts for learning supplies, and reading during story time) to also be vital to the LFP spirit for our most valuable treasures; our children.
This is a note to tell you how thankful we are that Ms. Denise is Cameron and Jackson’s teacher and also how blessed we feel to be a part of the Little Fisher’s family. Last night at Open House I got to see just a glimpse of how much they have learned this year already and I am amazed! They are starting to blossom socially with making friends and singing all of the new songs they are learning in school. We can tell that Ms. Denise is so patient and kind with each child and it touches our hearts to see how loving she is with our children. The growth that we’ve seen in both Cameron and Jackson in such a short period of time amazes us every day and we cannot wait to continue the school year with Ms. Denise leading our children with education, faith, and love.
Thank you very much for all of the good work you do to create this loving environment at Little Fishers where the boys are truly thriving. And again, thank you for Ms. Denise because she is just a blessing to our family!
I have had two of my sons go through the 3 & 4 year old program at Little Fishers and we couldn’t be happier! I chose Little Fishers because it had a Christian based program, it wasn’t too big, and I liked the few teacher’s I had spoken with.
I have grown to think Little Fishers staff & other parents as a sort of family. The Pastor at Little Fishers participates in weekly chapel, and REALLY knows how to talk on the children’s level. Aside from the great Christian aspect, and the family feel of Little Fishers, they also have a really good academic program. I have spoken with friends that have children at other local preschool, and they seem to be more “daycare” type places with not a lot of focus on curriculum.
The boys have learned so much and had so much fun there! Despite the drive I make to get there, and all the other preschools I pass on the way, Little Fishers is DEFINITELY worth it! I will hands down, always recommend Little Fishers preschool to anyone that wants to listen! I wouldn’t trust my children’s lives and future with anyone else.
This is my daughter’s third and final year at Little Fishers Preschool and the past two years have been a very pleasant experience. I have seen positive changes in my child’s personality, which have really encouraged me to enroll her for the third consecutive year.
They have the most caring, loving and above all the most patient teachers. The teachers care for the kids as if they are their own. After the first week only, I was amazed as to how happy my daughter was to go to school and at the end of the day that is what matters to all parents.
They have a great curriculum which is very age-appropriate. They also have great Motor Skills Development program. Overall, they focus on the overall development of the children and keep you involved and informed about your child’s development. You also get to participate in lots of class activities which help you to monitor your child’s development at school. According to me this is the best preschool in Sugar Land.
Our experience at Little Fishers Preschool has been wonderful. Our girls spent two years in Ms. Leanne’s class and I could NOT have asked for a more loving teacher. Right away you can just feel how warm and welcoming the staff is and they all know each child and parent by name! I have and will continue to recommend Little Fishers to all parents researching schools for their little loved ones.
